The Ridgeway Leisure Centre offers its members a huge range of fitness and
leisure facilities and is open 7 days a week. The
air-conditioned Fitness Suite opened just over 2 years ago and has been a huge
success in improving the health and fitness of people from all walks of life,
and membership is continually growing.
Full membership includes a Fitness Induction and
personal training programme designed by fully qualified staff
with over 15 years experience.
We have a 25 metre swimming pool that has been a popular place
to swim for people from all over Swindon for many years. Regular swimming
sessions include Family Swim, Wet & Wild, Lengths, Over 18’s, Over 35’s and
Early Morning swims. Members can also take advantage of the sauna
after a dip to really feel relaxed and invigorated. Swimming lessons
for all ages are also available with Solutions Swim School.
The Sports Hall offers a number of possible activities including 5
Badminton Courts, Short Tennis, 5-a- side
Football, Netball, Basketball and
Indoor Cricket.
Two Squash courts with a viewing balcony are available for
serious players or for those who just want to have a knockabout.
The Centre also offers weekend Birthday Party packages
including use of the Pool, Sports Hall and Balcony for food.
Circuit Training, Aerobics and
Aqua-Fit classes are run throughout the week and these enjoyable
sessions are suitable for all ages and levels of fitness.
Outdoor activities include 2 Full Size Football pitches and
1 Junior pitch, 8 Tennis Courts,
Cricket Nets and a Cricket Pitch.
Popular Clubs held at the Centre include Badminton Club,
Tae Kwon Do, Shotokan Karate, Little
Ninja’s Self Defence Class and Children’s Trampoline Courses.
Children’s Soccer Schools and Rascals, the
Children’s Holiday Club, are held throughout the year.
A number of Membership packages are available and include
All Inclusive or Pay & Play.
The Centre also offer Sun Bed and massage treatments.
