At GCSE, Business Studies investigates the key
aspects of running a successful business; from aims and objectives, to human
resources, production, location, marketing and finance. We also consider the
impact of the wider world in the form of the role of government, international
trade and trade unions.
This double award A level prepares students for a career in business and an
excellent preparation for studying a business related degree. It teaches real
business skills such as team working, public speaking, interview skills,
research and planning skills. Topics include Market Research, Production, Career
Planning, Marketing, Finance, Recruitment and Leadership.
