Duke of Edinburgh - Record Book
In your record book pack, you will find the following items:
Cloth cover to contain all the items.
Welcome Leaflet
The record book (the most important item which is what supervisors will sign to confirm that participants have completed all of the sections of the award satisfactorily).
Activities Logbook to allow supervisors to keep a record of activities so they can sign the record book at the end of the activity with confidence that all of the requirements have been met.
Discount Card (giving all participants 10% discount at Millets and Blacks).
Expedition Safety Card.
Card to enable particiopants to send off for a CD ROM giving further details about the Award.
It is very important that all of the pages in the Record Book must be completed properly, so that they are acceptable to the authorities who will either pass the book and award the D.of E. to the young person involved, not deem that the activitiy has not yet been completed in accordance with the 'rules'! Getting it right first time means that there is a lesser chance of the record book being rejected! The other sections in this part of the web site give you details of the 'do's' and 'don'ts' of how to do this.
You can download a copy of a sheet which can be printed and given to assessors to guide them in how to complete their pages properly from
