Operation Gambia Interview

Students at the Ridgeway School have been working tirelessly to raise money for the Latrikunda Sabiji School in Serukunda, Gambia. The project began after a member of staff visited the Gambia in April 2008. Being both appalled and shocked at what she saw, she recruited the help of 24 students to put together Operation Gambia.

Rebecca (member of BBC News team) managed to snatch a few moments with some of the Operation Gambia group to ask them why they got involved, what they’ve been doing and what they plan for the future.
