At Ridgeway, we have different pathways available depending on your goals, these are outlined below:
Consider this pathway if you are looking for a place at a top university or a degree apprenticeship and want to study three subjects in depth (a small number of high achieving students may study a fourth subject).
Add EPQ OR Student Leadership AND Add R6 Aspire and Volunteering alongside your academic mentoring and Independent Study periods.
Consider this pathway if you want to consider university, apprenticeship at any level or employment and keep your options open.
Add HSLA OR Student Leadership AND Enrichment Activities and Volunteering alongside your academic mentoring and Independent Study periods.
Consider this pathway if you are considering an apprenticeship or employment as main option, but may consider university in a particular subject.
Add HSLA OR Student Leadership AND Enrichment Activities and Volunteering alongside your academic mentoring and Independent Study periods.
Entry requirements for individual courses can be found on the subject pages in the course booklet section of the prospectus.
Students will need to achieve a minimum of four Grade 5s at GCSE to study at R6, however students taking three courses based on interview or portfolio will be considered.
