Last week’s house activity showed, once again, the pride that our students show towards the school community. The students were asked to cut a shape and write a pledge. This involved what they would personally contribute against bullying in the future. We are so proud of what our students have produced. Please see the photos of the marvellous pieces, which have formed a mosaic at the front of school. Well done everyone! The House Team
A group of chocolate reindeer arrived in the library last week, all excited about reading all the lovely books but it turns out that their sole purpose in life is to be prizes for year 7s, 8s and 9s doing their Accelerated Reader Quizzes. Two have already been won!
Students can quiz at home or at school and its been lovely to see how many of them have been reading and keen to tell us about their books. For more information drop us an email: email@example.com
BE SANTA TO A SENIOR…
This year as The Ridgeway School we are supporting the charity “Be Santa to a Senior” led by “Home Instead Senior Care” who support the elderly in our community and deliver Christmas letters and gifts to local care homes.
Our students took a huge effort in creating their Santa-Grams, both isolating from home and in school.
All contributions will remain untouched for a sufficient period so they can reach their lucky Senior Covid-safely.
Take a look at a few of the letters, cards and drawings made by our students (below) – who wouldn’t feel that little merrier when receiving a Santa-Gram like this?! J
