Wiltshire Air Ambulance Comes to The Ridgeway

You never know when you might need their help. Since 1990, Wiltshire Air Ambulance has been saving lives across the county.

Earlier this year, we had the honour of welcoming team members from this amazing charity to our school.

Just like last year, three visitors from Wiltshire Air Ambulance gave first aid lessons to our year 10 students. Over the course of four one-hour sessions, three members of the rescue service gave our pupils an invaluable introduction to the basics of emergency first aid, entirely free of charge.

The least we could do in return was to raise some money for the charity. Pooling together donations from students and parents, we managed to raise an impressive £250 in support of Wiltshire Air Ambulance. Thanks to everyone who donated!

We are also extremely grateful to Wiltshire Air Ambulance, not only for the incredibly useful first aid lessons they provided, but also for the countless lives they have saved over the past 30 years.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a registered charity and depends on financial support from members of the public. Donations can be made on the Wiltshire Air Ambulance website:
